While being in lockdown and living in the deep pits of the Welsh hills, it does have it’s benefits when it comes to a super clear night sky!

Hiking During Lockdown
After an immediate lockdown being put in play in late March 2020, I decided to stay in Wales, where I could give myself the best chance of not catching the virus.
Once a week, me and my Dad will go on a short hike, to help shift the head fog from being inside all week. So far the only people have I have seen is the post man every now and then, and a farmer who lives down the road. It’s strange to think about all the people we would usually be surrounded by in our daily lives, and even stranger to believe this might be the new normal for a while.
Mothers Day Hike
On the last day before the UK lockdown, (which also fell on Mothers Day!) the whole family took a hike up to the summit of Cadair Idris, the second tallest peak in the UK!
Sun was out and it was a fairly busy day due to it.
